MSM, or methylsulfonylmethane, is a natural, highly absorbable organic sulfur compound. Biologically active sulfur is essential for the proper functioning of the body. Poor dietary habits and increased stress levels reduce the sulfur levels in the body. It is mainly used as a joint supplement. MSM plays a role in the synthesis of collagen, which is the basic substance of connective tissues. It supports the health of joints and ligaments, as well as the quality of skin and coat. A further benefit of MSM is its ability to exhibit anti-inflammatory effects and to support the body in the detoxification process.
Directions for use: Administer the powder together with suitable feed. The recommended dosage is 250 mg daily per 5 kg body weight (one eighth of the smallest coffee spoon). The product may also be administered long-term.
